3 Colorado Ski Resorts Finish in Top 10 in North America! - Winter Park, Copper Mountain, and Telluride!

It's safe the say that the secret is out when it comes to finding the best skiing in North America.

USA today just posted the results for the top ranked ski resorts in North America, and Colorado resorts held 3 of the spots!

Coming it at #1 was Winter Park!
Coming it at #5 was Copper Mountain!
Coming in at #10 was Telluride!

For the full article courtesy of USAtoday.com, please go here: Best Ski Resorts in North America.

Personally, we love Copper above the others, yet that's because we live in Denver.  The reason being, is that driving the pass to Winter Park can get a bit sketchy in the winter.  The pass to Eisenhower tunnel can get a bit nasty in winter as well, yet I personally think that the preventative road mainetance is much, much better on i70 than heading to Winter Park.  Telluride is definitely worth the drive and is flat-out amazing, yet too far of a haul for a quick getaway for our family.  As a result, we LOVE Copper Mountain!

Either way, to find the best deals on ski lift tickets for all 3 of these finalist in the USAtoday contest, as well as other Colorado resorts, please take a look at our other blog post that captures the best deals going, HERE.

El NiƱo Headed to Colorado this Winter? Bring on the Snowfall!

Yeah, we know, it's way too early to begin thinking about snowfall this winter here in Colorado.  Or is it?

We're already day-dreaming of the nights before bed, with a heavy storm headed in, and we're planning to get up early for first tracks!  Ahhh....yep, can't wait.

Anyway, there's already a little tid-bit out there to get us excited.  9news reported that El Nino might hit the state this year.  That could equal big snowfall for the Colorado ski resorts!  Here's the article from www.9news.com:

Copper Mountain 4 pass / 4-pack are now on Sale for 2018 / 2019 Ski Season

Looks like Copper Mountain just posted their pricing for the Copper 4-pack for ski lift tickets.

This year you can purchase a regular 4-pack for $209, otherwise you can become an REI member ($20 bucks) and get the pass for $189.  Renewing your old 4-pack is also $189.

The bummer this year is that you can't purchase a new 4-pass in-person, but rather you need to buy them in-person.

For more details here's the link to Copper Mountain's web site with all the details:
